Today was insane, and I LOVED it. My family and I headed off to Robinsons Manila to support my cousin, Chai, while she danced with her f(x) dance cover group during the K-pop festival. She had a total of two performances--one at 12:30 pm, and the other at 7 pm. We had to stay in the mall for the whole day and thus had loads of time to kill.
When I got there, I was expecting shitloads of K-pop booths and whatnot, just like the convention I attended last November. Sadly, there was only one booth which sold CD's and not merch. :( Le sigh. Ah well.
But then anyway, I arranged to meet up with my Tumblr friends--
Gabbi and
Claire. Gabbi bailed on the last minute, but I still got to meet Claire. Awkward silences at the beginning, though we warmed up to each other pretty quickly for a first meeting! We had lunch at a Japanese restaurant wherein we spazzed our butts away. Haha. Good times, good times. :) I even got to meet another Tumblr friend,
Lae, which was an unexpected, lovely surprise. She was very hyper and it was funny. ^_^ Then I had to leave them to get back to my family, huhu. I was able to take a picture with Claire before I left, but it's in her camera so I won't get to post it here. Even for a few hours, spending time with her was crazy fun. She's planning to transfer to AdMU for her second year and I am nothing but stoked to soon have her as a schoolmate.
I tried getting
Meg to come but she had a ballet recital today. :c
WHICH I AM 100% SURE THAT SHE NAILED. That girl is a Black Swan.
Back to the K-pop summer fest, Stephan told me that he'd be dropping by the mall to give me my birthday present. After having some coffee with my relatives, I went to meet him. We hung out for about a couple hours or so and had our usual geeky conversations. OH OH and I recently found out that he has abs after I randomly rubbed his tummy. Boy has been keeping them secret for so long, lol.
I introduced ST to the family as well. It was weird. But hilarious. Harhar.
After he left, all we did was wait for Chai's next performance. Had no choice but to watch the other cover groups. I particularly disliked this MBLAQ cover group. No wait, I HATED them. Ugh, I swear they were so cocky and stuck up and they weren't even cute (and they totally think that they're hot wtf wtf wtf). Bleh. Such feelers. They were rude too. I wanted to punch each of their faces. I love MBLAQ and these posers are giving them a bad name. :| But that was the only crappy part of the day, hihi.
FINALLY IT WAS CHAI'S TURN TO DANCE. AFTER 54305843950843953 YEARS. Her group was great! In sync and everything. My cousins and I were screaming our asses off. People were looking but we didn't give two shits about it. Chai deserved our deafening screams, okay. She was just awesome. Her boy gave her much support as well. He stayed with her the whole day, how sweet is that, haha~
We left maybe an hour after Chai danced, then flailed about the whole day in the car. God. I love my friends. I love my family. This day was amazing. FUCK THIS RAPTURE BULLSHIT.
Hee. And now, some pictures. ^^

Meia, me, Chai, and her boylet~

Paparazzi photo of Stephan and I. :))

WITH TEH STAR OF THE NIGHT. ^^

Mark made her that banner. Ain't that adorable.

f(x)ation about to dance!
I've been having such amazing days lately. Even yesterday was lovely! I got to bond with my 4D and 4B friends during Louise's despedida. I owe that night a post as well; prolly when Nichie uploads her photos. Made me realize how much I frigging miss my class so much. 4B better have a reunion, and fast!
Summer 2011 has been wonderful so far. I'm hoping it'll end with a blast. :]

May I just spazz about how excited I am for Ateneo's 2011 OrSem? There's a frigging website for it and everything and the art looks so nice! Ateneans sure go all out on these sort of events. I'm so psyched to meet my block mates and all the people I'll be spending time with throughout my college life. Pretty glad that a number of my friends will be going there as well. I get to see Jo, Jones, Kevin, Jebbie, Joshua, Vitt, etc. on campus often, yay! ^^
I'm feeling the hype already. I guess I'm just so happy that I'll be staying in my fucking dream school. All that hard, goddamn work I did in high school, all that sweat, blood, and tears paid off, and now I'm living the dream. I will finally get to be called a true blue Atenean. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh!!
I'm ready for you, Ateneo!

Nyahahaha. Just a recap of the past few weeks. May has been very eventful so far.
- May 6. My family and I went to Eastwood for our usual Starbucks night, wherein we met my cousin's boy. Lols. It was weird. But it's nice to see Chai so very happy with this guy.
- May 7. I went out on a date. :| loljk. Kevin and I were supposed to be with our other friends, but they all bailed on us and so we were alone. He dragged me to watch Fast Five with him (because I wanted to watch Thor so badly -_-), and I loved it, unexpectedly. We got to bond more over coffee before he brought me home. It was fun anyway and we got to catch up and see each other before he left for his fucking Europe cruise. Rich bitch, lol. I didn't get to see Miggy though. :(
- While I was out with Kevin, I also managed to buy my mama a mothers' day present! I got her this perfume called 'Joy of Pink' from Lacoste. It cost almost all my money, but I'm glad I got to buy it for her. She loved it very much and it's always nice to see her happy. My mom spent so much for me while we were in the States and so it was time to give back. :]
- May 8. Bea Villoria's debut. She was so cute, really! She was in this Taylor Swift get-up and she performed You Belong With Me and Love Story! Hehehe.
- May 9. I slept over at Jebbie's after Bea's debut and we went to Rockwell the very next day with Joshua. We had girly talk in Starbucks; mostly about random stuff and college. Jebbie was playing with her SLR and took many pictures of me, which she managed to make into a gif. *_*
- May 12. My mom gave me my birthday money, and access to my savings. Holy guacamole was all I could say.
- May 13. The day of my eighteenth birthday. I didn't do much through the day; basically just stayed online. It was very sweet that the people of Tumblr had their own little surprises for me. Their birthday messages and letters were so touching. My Tumblr friends are awesome, period.
- The night of my birthday was weird. Went out with the Starbucks gang to Eastwood and had dinner. The servers sang to me and all dslfkdlsfjkdjk it was awkward okay. But it was fun with my family there, I guess. :)
- May 14. Mom arranged a birthday lunch at home. After, my cousins and I went to The Spa to get a massage; then we went off to Park Jun's Beauty Lab (good lord that place is insanely Korean I swear it was like a fucken haven) for a cut. I chopped all my hair off. It's so much easier to manage now, thank goodness. Very convenient for college!
- May 15. My boyfriend's 21st birthday. Seriously. :| loljk it was Jonghyun's birthday. One of my Tumblr friends (MEG, AHEM AHEM) found it interesting to give me my present on that day.
- Also got to meet up with my relatives from the States. Then get more presents. dskldlksjfksdjfks. Not that I'm complaining and all. Teehee.
That's it for now. I'm so happy that I have a lot of plans for the summer. Very very very eventful indeed. I'll be seeing more people this weekend as well! Yay. :) Anywho, here are some pictures~

Chai, Juammi, and me.

Bea's debut!

Gif of myself that Jebbie made. Lolwat.

Birthday dinner at Johnny Rockets!

Eighteen Treasures.
|| 5:28 AM
I spent the day with
Andy. It was wonderful. Even though all we did was eat, talk, talk some more, and watch a movie (we watched
Fast Five lols Andy was very amused with it), I loved it. I missed this girl so much and I'm happy we got to spend time with each other. I adore that even though we don't talk everyday, we're still as close as fuck when we're together. Teehee.
And have I told you how fucking thoughtful and sweet this lovely lady is? I received the absolute best 18th birthday gift from her. Well, gifts, rather. It was this humongous box filled with all these convenient little goodies that I love; some with a hidden meaning to them. Eighteen presents, specifically. Boy, do I owe this blog a damn post.

I've been neglecting blogging recently and it's most likely because of the very awesomeepictiringexasperatingamazing trip to the States that I've had not too long ago. Let me at least try doing a short recap on that. I have bajillions of pictures but I'm extremely lazy to post too much so I'll just put the important ones here~

First stop: Orlando, Florida. In a nutshell, seven theme parks in seven days. Whew. I have no idea how my brother, my mom and I survived walking in the sun and exploring ginormous theme parks for a week.

Magic Kingdom.

Chocolate Frog from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

Mickey Mouse~

More sweets from Harry Potter land.

Second stop: Manhattan, New York City! This place, I could stay in forever. The crowd was extremely fashionable in Manhattan, and then, literally everywhere you go, the city would not fail to give a breathtaking sight for the eyes. Never mind that I froze my frigging ass off. Beautiful, beautiful place. I'm thankful for the experience in this exotic urban jungle.

Went to Broadway and watched The Phantom of the Opera. Fucking epic, okay.

This chandelier was epic as well. Too bad I couldn't take a clear picture of it.

Of course, while in New York I spent a day with my awesome friend, Dani. We basically just spazzed about K-pop and K-dramas the whole time. Heehee. Love this girl and I really do hope she makes it as big as her sister in the modelling industry. :)

Third stop: Los Angeles, California! We got the chance to bond with my relatives there and went to Las Vegas and Hollywood too.

Our despedida even had a birthday cake for me. Hoho.

And then we shopped until our wallets hurt. I swear, my mom went crazy on expensive branded stuff. Now we're all poor huhu.
Welp, I'm back in Manila now. Good thing it's kind of rainy now and the weather isn't as hot as it used to be. Guh, I wish I could go back to the States though. It was really fun exploring so many new places. Ah well.
Time to be productive at home and get inspired. I have to make the most out of my summer.
