Flex flex flex.
Thursday, March 31, 2011 || 6:29 AM

Aish, I'm just really glad I've been having a life these days. Yesterday, I was over at Andy's, and just a while ago, Miggy and Kevin came to my place for dinner. It was mega fun seeing those guys again. Kevin was over first and we talked about a lot of shit, then Miggy was late, as usual. It was fun anyway. So much laughter and whatnot. I'm pretty sad that I won't be seeing them for another month. Boo~

Anyway, here's a picture!

And here's the gif that Andy made from this morning, lol. (HELLO ANDY MAY I STEAL YOUR GIF?)

I just love these people so much. :]

Moon stories.
Wednesday, March 30, 2011 || 10:43 PM

I spent last night at Andy's place. Quite a random sleepover; we basically talked and bitched about a lot of things--school, people, the future, relationships, and whatnot. It was fun having to bond with that girl again. I missed my best friend very much. :] I'll be putting up pictures of the sleepover once she sends them.

We also had a lovely dinner right after walking the dogs (we were supposed to bug Josh but apparently we walked to his house for nothing, since he wasn't home). I managed to walk this puppy called Gable. Real cute. We weren't able to take pictures of that though. Strolling at night in San Lorenzo village is actually really fun too. The houses and the whole atmosphere itself are gorgeous. I could only wish I'm able to afford living in a place like that in the near future.

After taking a shower, I died right away on Andy's magical bed. I swear, that thing makes you sleepy almost instantly. Had breakfast in the morning and ate pancakes while Andy was gif-ing the pictures wherein we camwhored. Lol. Baccalaureate mass at CSA soon after that.

The other invites were given out as well! ^^ Wow, I can't believe high school is coming to an end. I guess I don't really want to think about it yet.

Graduation program!

Graduation ball invites made by my friend Nichie. The theme is vintage theater. ^^

Playing with the tassle is fun ok lols.

Guhhhhhh fast forward to our US trip please. :|

I wanna buy a bunch of CN Blue albums.

k that was random.

And this blog post is pointless.

I have school tomorrow.

Which sucks.

Because we aren't even doing anything.

I wanna graduate already.

School has been useless for the past three weeks.

I need a life.

And a boyfriend.

Ah whatever I'll just end this thing now.

Bye.

and more friendship anniversaries to come.
Wednesday, March 23, 2011 || 7:53 AM

TODAY IS MARCH 23rd! Thus, marking my second friendship anniversary with Kevin! ^__^ Yeah, I like friendship anniversaries, alright?

When someone would first see Kevin, he/she would see this big, intimidating-looking guy. But in truth, he's one of the sweetest, most sincere guys I know (apparently girls go gaga for him and his Asian good-looks lol). I am blessed to have him as one of my best friends, and I'd always find comfort whenever I rant to him about whatever. Also, he reads my fanfics and actually likes them, haha! He's just a great guy to hang out with, really. I somewhat admire him in a way because he has this pure heart that manages to see good in everyone. Oh, and he writes the best letters too. The boy is really articulate in wording things out. Hohoho. Hey Kevin, you should be a writer someday or whatever.

I'm really glad we're going to the same university next year. Here's to loads of awesome bonding sessions at Ateneo! ILU BB! :D

HELLO PLEASE DO NOT READ THIS POST BECAUSE IT CONSISTS OF MY FANGIRLY DREAMS OF MY IDEAL AND PERFECT GRADUATION BALL.
Monday, March 21, 2011 || 4:15 AM

[If you thought I couldn't get any more 'forever alone' than I am now, you were wrong]

So the third of April starts officially starts off with my mom and I heading out to the salon to have my hair and make-up done. About two hours afterward, I'm all dolled up in light, but fierce make-up, and we go home. I put on my grad-ball dress, shoes, and minimal accessories; I'm then mildly surprised to see my boyfriend/"date" arriving early with a car he borrowed so he could drive me to the hotel (borrowed, because he owns a motorcycle, and not his own car ^_^). But I'm more surprised at the fact that he's wearing a matching silver suit.

You didn't have to, I say.

"I wanted to look good beside you," he replies, smiling.

My mom and the rest of my relatives get all excited and they crowd around us for lots of random pictures. We pose for a few then we leave eventually. When finally out of the house, he whispers in my ear and tells me that I look beautiful.

Upon arriving at Shangri-La Makati, he hangs around a bit since we're early. We take a lot of pictures together and of my classmates as well. My friends remark on how adorable we look together, matching outfits and all, and that it's a shame that he isn't able to attend the ball itself. I am then reminded that yes, he can't really be my date, because he doesn't go to my school. And outsiders aren't allowed to my graduation ball.

I suddenly get sadder that the doors to the ballroom are finally opening. He notices the disappointed look on my face and asks me what's wrong. I whine about him not being able to attend and wrap my arms around his waist tightly. He just chuckles and hugs me back even tighter than I did.

"We'll go out when I pick you up later, okay?" he grins, resting his chin on the top of my head. "Just don't dance with too many of your guy friends, will 'ya?"

I nod and remind him to bring a guitar for later. He gives me one last look after kissing me goodbye privately, and then he finally leaves. I head toward my friends and go inside the ballroom. The scene abruptly whirlwinds into the most epic party I've ever been to--a night of dancing, laughing, and reminiscing about the wonderful experience of high school. The night seems perfect, but incomplete somehow. I already know what's missing.

I get out of the ballroom with my feet pretty much dying. Once I look up, he's right there, carrying a small bag, leaning against the wall with an acoustic guitar slung over his back. I walk up to him and I see that he changed out of his silver suit, and back to his regular attire--his favorite black jacket, jeans, and white v-neck shirt.

"The suit's a little uncomfortable," he explains, scratching the back of his neck guiltily. I wave it off, since he never fails to look amazing in whatever he wears. Then I take a peek at the bag.

He smirks. "I know how much you hate wearing really high heels."

Inside the bag are a brand new pair of flats, an extra shirt, and jeans. He apologizes and says it's because we have to take his motorbike instead since his friend wanted the car back. But it's completely fine with me; I like riding his bike anyway--makes me feel badass, lols.

I bid my friends goodbye and my class gets one huge group hug before I leave with him. I change to the clothes he got me, then we hop on the bike. My arms are wrapped tightly around his waist as he drives the motorcycle into a nearby McDonald's, because we're cheap like that. We buy around 4 cups of ice cream and a pack of chicken nuggets, and over this particularly unhealthy midnight snack, he asks me what happened during the ball. I tell him it would've been perfect if it weren't for the fact that he wasn't there. He laughs, and I realize how musical it sounds like.

We take the bike again and ride over to a secluded park, wherein we do nothing but sing and play guitar. Song and laughter fill the air that night, the both of us just...happy. One thing leads to another and I find myself slow dancing with him under the moonlight, his voice serenading me as he holds me in his arms. Somehow, everything feels right.

He checks the time and it's nearing my curfew; he says I have to get home or else he'll have a bad impression on my mom. A bit resentful, I nod anyway. As we reach my house, my night is ended with a short, but sweet kiss on the lips. The odd, fuzzy feeling stays even as I watch him disappear into the darkness with his motorcycle.

***

BUT NO NOT ANY OF THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN AND WILL NOT HAPPEN ANY TIME SOON. PROBABLY NEVER WILL.

oh why yes I do waste my time fantasizing about the most pointless things. Dear lord I need a real love life. ;___;

That fated Wednesday.
Sunday, March 20, 2011 || 3:04 AM

This blog post shall be narrated in the form of random bullets, because I am incoherent today.

  1. It was my third friendship anniversary yesterday [March 19, 2011] with the best guy friend any girl could ever have--Miggy! It was definitely a rocky, but mega fun friendship starting from day 1. We disagree on almost everything and we fight a lot too (though arguing with him can get pretty fun!), but everything always goes right in the end. He'd usually know what to say to me to cheer me up and make me laugh, and we'd talk about countless things. Also, despite having different tastes in certain things like music, we get along like two peas in a pod. I'm proud to say that we remain really, really close even though we go to different schools. This boy is someone I could trust with pretty much everything, stories, secrets, even my very own life. I wouldn't know how my teenage years would turn out without him in it. :) I loves you, Miggeh! Here's to more friendship anniversaries to come! ^^
  2. I've been fascinated with this girl's chola parodies on the Internet. They've been making me laugh since last week. You guys oughta check her out; she's hilarious. I shall attempt doing this chola accent in school tomorrow for the lulz.

  3. I feel bad for my brother. His pox is waaaaaay worse than mine and it's just sad looking at him. I do hope he heals quickly. I miss hugging my baby brother.

  4. Bought my first box of BB Cream today from The Face Shop. I could only hope that it works well on my face. So far, putting it on works wonders. ^^

dressed for the kill.
Saturday, March 19, 2011 || 1:53 AM

Done with my gradball dress hunting, finally! I was definitely torn a while ago between a sweet-looking tube dress and a unique-looking one-shoulder dress. The tube dress was gold in color with a ribbon around its waist. The length is right on the knee and it's layered with thin chiffon. But then I found the design a bit too safe and...boring. I did look nice in it, but there was nothing wow about the whole image.

So I opted for the other dress. It's above the knee, and now I'm a bit worried if it's too short. Bullshit if they send me out though. I'm gonna have some asses seriously sued if they do. The dress cost me 6fuckingk and I look fabulous in it alright. NO ONE'S GONNA RUIN MY NIGHT BECAUSE OF ITS DAMN LENGTH RAWWWR.

Hohoho ok this was a very short, vain blog post. Can't a girl feel beautiful once in a while? c:

I've got the lust for the criminal in you.
Friday, March 18, 2011 || 5:13 AM

[title's from There For Tomorrow's new song "Hunt Hunt Hunt" and holy shit does it sound incredible I cannot wait for their sophomore album to be released skljflksjflksjk I love this band way too much my boys are fucking back weeeee~~~ /end random music rave]

I finally went back to school today! I'm officially-kinda-healed from the pox already. Although, I'm kind of still avoiding any form of physical touch just in case I still am contagious. Wouldn't want my friends to catch the disease right before graduation now. The bad news is that my brother found out he caught it today. Spots started popping on his skin this morning. Kind of made me feel guilty. But I guess he'll be fine. It's my mom I'm really worried about. God, please don't let her catch it, please.

So...school. I don't even know why I decided to go today. I now know why everyone's been saying how useless the week was. I pretty much died from all the boredom and the standing and the sitting and the practices. Good lord. Then, in the theater for the college orientation, I slept through half of it. I hate how my school makes up the most useless activities just to waste our time. We have frigging "seniors' day" or whatever you want to call it, next Monday. Ugh. Can't they make us graduate any earlier? The only reason why I don't want to leave this place is because of my friends. Other than that, good riddance, high school.

Though I got my ACP Graduation certificate this morning. I was surprised that I saw this on it:

C/SGT FERNANDEZ, DENISE KATHLEEN G.

Duuuude. I failed all my written exams and graduated as a fucking SARGEANT! Wow. I thought I was going to remain an air-woman forever (lol yeah I never really got promoted until graduation). It's a shame I forgot to bring it home. Stupid me. I hope someone took it and will give it back to me on Monday. TT________TT

Anyway, I shall be going dress-hunting for my graduation ball tomorrow. Hope I find a pretty one. ^^

the tale of the sun children.
Tuesday, March 15, 2011 || 9:37 AM

Many years ago, it has been said that gods have roamed the earth in disguise and become one with chosen mortals. Demi-gods, heroes, and great leaders have sprouted from these unions, bestowing their countries with peace and prosperity. Legend has it that the unique descendants of such divine encounters between humans and immortals still walk amongst the modern society today. Some are gifted with beauty, others, wisdom, but the most gifted of them all are the valiant and vigorous children of the sun—the children of Apollo.

Born into this present generation were a fated num
ber of the sun children. Little did these chosen ones know that Apollo had a special plan in mind—they were all destined to cross each other’s paths and form a heavily-bonded, special family. This family gathered under one school, one batch, one room, and collectively, they were known as the spirited class of 4B.

It is undeniable that 4B houses the best talents that the senior batch has. Not only are they blessed with sheer intelligence, but abilities in every known area as well, similar to how Apollo rules as a god of many things. There are those who excel in music, handling vocals and guitars with nothing but pure, potent skill. Some possess endowm
ent in theatre, poetry, and writing. And then of course, being the visual arts class, each and every one of the 4B students never fail to bring color and vibrancy into their high school community.

But the most important value that father Apollo had instilled in his children is the warmth of the sun that shines on their smiling faces, and radiates from their tender hearts. The joy, passion, and love they share burns with such intensity that, despite them finally parting ways, they will always remain together in both mind and spirit. 4B, with its members destined for greatness, will forever be remembered as the bright and fiery class whose light shone amidst the darknes
s, the talented class whose bond will never be broken.

Presenting the class of 4B--the children of Apollo, the children of the sun.

Photo is by fellow sun child Jack Alindahao.

Classmates, what do you think of my write-up for us? :)

computer games.
|| 3:37 AM

My mom's back from her weekend outing today! I've really missed her.

We had dinner together and she told us an interesting story about my dad and my brother. It's pretty touching and a bit heartbreaking as well, so I thought of sharing it over here. It's a more personal version of what I posted on Tumblr.

My dad was an immigration officer at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport--meaning going to work late in the afternoon, and arriving home early in the morning. He often worked graveyard shifts and came back at around 12 or 2 AM. But he wouldn't go to sleep immediately. He'd stay up in my room, use our old desktop, and play his computer games.

My brother would often get up at this hour and see that my dad wasn't beside him. He'd then head over to the room where he was in and catch him on the computer. My dad would put my brother on his lap and play the game with him. This went on for most late nights...until my father passed away. My brother was four years old.

Weeks after my dad died, my mom would wake up in the middle of the night and find that my brother wasn't sleeping in his usual place. She'd go out of her bedroom to look for him, only to see that he was at the desktop computer, staring at the empty chair that my dad would usually sit on. He doesn't say anything. He doesn't cry. All he does is stare. And then my mom, constantly fighting back her tears, would lead him back to the bedroom and tell him to get some sleep. He would, eventually.

But the incident continued for months. My brother would get up in the middle of the night, looking for my father, hoping for another game with him, only to be greeted by the same empty chair, and the dead, blank screen of the computer. My mom would urge him back into bed, and the cycle would happen again on the succeeding nights.

My brother never got to play with my dad again.

a bunch of random thoughts before bedtime.
Saturday, March 12, 2011 || 6:58 AM

The American remake of Let the Right One In was actually good. I liked it a lot~
With the backstage crew. Pretty much the only picture I had taken at the Bb. CSA Coronation Night

You sad, sick little girl.
|| 2:47 AM

So I've had the pox since last Friday, and the improvement that I've been observing has gone insanely well thanks to this wonder medicine. Cost my mom a fortune though. On the bright side, most marks on my face have completely disappeared.

20 tablets, 5x a day, and there's only one left! 8D
Anyway, tonight I'm missing Miggy's gradball, which was yet another huge letdown for me caused by the cursed chickenpox. I was really looking forward to going to my future university and seeing all the Ateneans I never got to meet personally. Not to mention, hanging out with my best friend as well. Sigh. So much for that. And Anberlin too, which I am still bitter over. fucking pox

I'm dying to get out of my room already. A week of isolation is not pretty, you see. It does things to your head. The first thing I'm doing once I'm better is go shopping for dresses and make-up. My inner girly-girl is about to explode. I'm still thinking if I should invest on BB cream to cover up my pox scars. They say it's expensive, but worth it. Mmm.

apparently, it works wonders *_*
idk I've recently developed a fascination for make-up okay T_T
Also, I'm debating whether I should go to school on Monday or not. I still feel pretty lazy, lols. But whatever. I miss my classmates though. Maybe I should.

What even.
|| 2:39 AM

I don't really know why I revived my Blogger account. It's pretty gay, but at least I've a safer place to express myself. Hello, world.
