The City that Never Sleeps.
Wednesday, April 20, 2011 || 3:33 PM

It's day 4 in Manhattan, New York City for me and I am loving it here. Part of me never wants to leave this place. It's completely different from Orlando; not only are the people here better looking (hell, they even dress amazingly) the city is booming with life and the environment is just so gorgeous. I love the fact that there's so much culture and so many nationalities flooding the place.

Lemme try doing a recap to what we've been doing in the big apple.

Day 1 - Arrived at NYC and checked in at La Quinta Inn. The inn is coincidentally in Korea town, and I realized we lived right beside a fucken K-pop store. Lol. Anyway, we were shocked by how insanely cold it is here. Nevertheless, we explored the streets near our hotel.

Day 2 - Got up early to take the bus to Liberty Island, to...yes, see the Statue of Liberty. IT TOOK US THREE HOURS OF LINING UP WOMG. The statue was pretty though. We took loads of pictures. But by the time we got off the island, we were so tired that we decided to go home. The bus we were in though took us around the whole Manhattan island. Really interesting shit. The tour made me fall in love with the city more. I also saw Times Square for the first time. ^^

Day 3 - My family and I took a break from the city and took a tour to the Hamptons. It's completely different from Manhattan, but executes just as much beauty. If the city gives that whole lively feel, the Hamptons is a quiet place to relax and breathe for a bit. The tour bus drove by houses of a few celebrities as well. Such rich bitches with pretty mansions, seriously. Mmm. Anyway, we walked around town and just appreciated the country air. The weather was perfect there as well--not too cold, and just the right amount of wind.

My mom bought me my very own leather jacket that day too! I feel so bad ass wearing it, haha. Now all I need are a tattoo and a motorbike hohoho~

Day 4 - My mom's friend, Tita Cheng, brought us around Manhattan via subway. It's pretty cool riding it; I felt like Natalie Portman while she was commuting in Black Swan. Lolwat. Anywho, we proceeded to the Museum of Natural History, which was the same place where they shot Night at the Museum. It was kind of crowded though. And then we watched this cool planetarium show.

After lunch, we headed out to Central Park. God, that place is ginormous. It covers around 50 blocks. It's huge, but it sure is beautiful too. There were lakes and pretty statues everywhere. The trees were leafless but it still had this eerie sublimity to them y'know? It was extremely nice walking around and taking loads of pictures. We even saw a handful of newlyweds having photoshoots in the park (and they were all in wedding attire, to bet). Central Park is my brand new favorite place in the whole wide world. :D

Tita Cheng had to leave so my mom let me go to Forever 21 to look for clothes. I didn't pack much so it was a necessity (lolol). Basically just bought four tops for the rest of our NYC trip (we're doing the rest of the shopping in California :>). I also finally got my CNBlue First Step Limited Edition album from Koryo Bookstore. Oh god, 100 pages of eye candy, okay. And it's big enough for me to hug foreverrrr~ @______@

Tomorrow, we planned to go to Rockefeller center with Tita Cheng again. Will have lunch with Dani too, and then at night, we're watching The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. Ahhh, cannot wait.

Pictures shall be up in a separate post! :)

NEW YORK CITY IS WONDERFUL.
